Friends of Burley is excited to announce our largest fundraiser of the year, our annual Spring Gala, in support of Burley Elementary School.
This year’s event will take place at Sarabande on Friday, March 6th from 7:00 to 11:00 pm. We are expecting approximately 300 people to attend the celebration.
Fundraising efforts at this event enable FOB to meet the critical needs of Burley where Chicago Public Schools funding falls short, providing a vital source of immediately available monies to ensure Burley can continue to provide a comprehensive and supportive education to its nearly 500 students. Donations fund important funding deficits, including the music program for every child at Burley, as well as the 1:1 technology initiative, and critical staff positions.
The generosity of the Burley community is a defining characteristic of our school’s 130-year history and our spring gala's success is a shining example of this tradition. To help us meet this school year’s fundraising goal, we are asking for sponsorships from local businesses and individuals. FOB is a 501(c)3 charity, to which gifts are tax-deductible (EIN#03-0539914). Sponsorships are not tax-deductible but we will be featuring sponsors at the event in several ways:
ORCHID SPONSORS: $3,500: Your business name and logo will be prominently displayed on its own signage for the entirety of the event. Your business name and logo will be featured on a separate banner outside the school and on our website, as well as prominently throughout digital advertising at the event. Your logo will be shared on social media (~850 followers) and included in eblasts (~1200 recipients). You will also receive four free tickets to the event and 2 VIP event experiences.
TULIP SPONSORS: $2,500: Your business logo will be printed on a specialty item to be used throughout the event, which families love to take home! Your logo will be incuded in digital advertising at the event, as well as on a banner outside the school with other Tulip Sponsors and on our website. Your logo will also be shared on social media (~850 followers) and included in eblasts (1200 recipients). You will also receive two free tickets to the event and 1 VIP event experience.
DAFFODIL SPONSORS: $1,000: Your business logo will be printed on table tents used throughout the event. Your logo will be included in digital advertising at the event and on our website. Your logo will also be shared on social media (~850 followers) and included in eblasts (~1200 recipients).
LILAC SPONSORS: $500: Your business logo will be included in digital advertising at the event and on our website. Your logo will be shared on social media (~850 followers) and included in eblasts (~1200 recipients).
